NOA TO PARTNER RADIO NIGERIA.
Nigerians have been advised to take advantage of the Nation’s cultural and ethnic diversity for its overall development, rather than allow it to divide them.
The Ogun State Director, National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mrs Olufunke Salako made the plea when she led the management team of the Agency on a familiarisation tour to Radio Nigeria Paramount FM, Abeokuta.
Mrs Salako said that National unity was non-negotiable, stressing the need for people to embrace patriotism, tolerance and hardwork, as part of effort to support the government in Nation building.
The NOA State Director noted that National development required collective effort, and solicited the collaboration of Radio Nigeria Paramount FM Abeokuta, on the Agency’s sensitization and orientation programmes on National issues for the people of Ogun State.
Responding, the General Manager, Paramount FM, Mr Akinyinka Akintola pointed out that the Station was committed to disseminating informative, educative and entertaining programmes, despite many constraints facing it.
Mr Akintola who expressed the readiness of the Station to partner the NOA in the sensitization of the people on government policies and programmes, gave the assurance that Radio Nigeria would continue to liaise with relevant stakeholders in the quest to uplift the people and unite the Nation.
