NEW IMMIGRATION BOSS HALTS FOREIGN POSTING OF OFFICERS.
The newly appointed Head of Immigration has decided to suspend the assignments of officers to foreign postings.
Kemi Nandap, the recently appointed Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), has made the decision to cancel the assignment of certain personnel who were recently sent to serve as immigration attaches
In January, the former CG, Caroline Wura-Ola, authorized the assignment of immigration officers to various Nigerian embassies in Europe, the United States, Asia, and African nations.
After a change in leadership, the service instructed the personnel who were affected to halt their plans to return to the foreign posting and instead, to go back to their original duty location.
