A delegation led by the Vice Chancellor, University of ilorin, Prof Wahab Egbewole, SAN, paid a visit to the Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters in Abuja, to congratulate the 19 CGI, Kemi Nanna Nandap pcc, mmis, fsm on her appointment.
The VC expressed his joy and pride to witness the elevation of an alumna of the University to the position of a Comptroller General of Immigration.
Mr Egbewole said the University has over the years, produced very fine products and CGI Nandap represents one of the finest.
He added that the visit was an opportunity for the team to improve on the existing relationship between the two organizations.
Responding, CGI Nandap said the University of Ilorin shaped her into the person she is today. She reiterated the Service’s willingness to collaborate with the University on training and retraining of officers as well as other areas that would be of benefit to both NIS and University of Ilorin.
