Be positive About Nigeria. NOA DG SAYS.

Be positive about Nigeria
NOA DG reiterates

The need for Nigerians of all ages and gender to think and speak positive about the nation has again been reiterated on Friday by the Director General, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu.

Onilu reiterated this during his discussion on germane national issues as a guest on Radio Kwara Ilorin

The DG emphasised that NOA, under his watch, will pursue attitudinal and value reorientation of Nigerians towards achieving emotional attachment to the country.

According to him, vices among Nigerians, hate speech and fake news all stem from a deficient attitude which can only be fundamentally corrected with a mindset change.

He said, “we require the orientation of the psyche and minds of Nigerians to trust the government, love their country, restore community spirit, uphold our core values, be law abiding and set a minimum standard of behavior for themselves.”

All these, he noted, are achievable when we operate a national life style charter with a Nigerian promise to citizens.

Onilu therefore appealed to Nigerians to team up with NOA even as the Agency strategies and unveils new paths for attitudinal change.
