NOA DIRECTOR OLUSEGUN ADEYEMI BOWS OUT OF SERVICE AS WORKERS IN THE DIRECTORATE CELEBRATED HIM IN GRAND STYLE .
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Kwara State celebrated the retirement of its State Director, Mr. Olusegun Adeyemi, in a grand sendoff ceremony today, marking the end of his illustrious career in public service. Mr. Adeyemi, who has served with distinction and dedication, officially retired from service upon reaching the milestone of 60 years of age.
The sendoff program, held at the NOA Kwara office, was attended by staff, officials, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the leadership and contributions of Mr. Adeyemi over the years. During the ceremony, his colleagues and subordinates took turns to eulogize him, extolling his virtues of hard work, kindness, and his exceptional ability to foster a positive and productive working environment.
Speakers at the event highlighted his humane leadership style, his jovial nature, and his commitment to the mission of the National Orientation Agency. They praised his unwavering dedication to promoting national values, civic engagement, and patriotism in Kwara State, noting that his legacy will continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
To honor Mr. Adeyemi’s years of service, several gifts were presented to him as tokens of appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the Agency and the state at large.
A birthday cake was also cut by the celebrant who was full of appreciation for the befitting programme.
In a fitting tribute, Officers of the War Against Indiscipline (WAI) Brigade conducted a ceremonial pulling-out parade, adding a formal and emotional close to his remarkable career.
In his farewell speech, Mr. Adeyemi expressed his gratitude to the staff of NOA and the people of Kwara State for their support throughout his time as State Director. He also acknowledged the collective effort of the entire NOA team in advancing the Agency’s objectives and promoting national unity.
“I am deeply moved by this celebration and feel honored to have had the opportunity to serve in this capacity. The journey has been challenging but rewarding, and I thank every one of you for your support and dedication to our shared mission,” Mr. Adeyemi remarked.
The ceremony concluded with goodwill messages from members of staff, all emphasizing that Mr. Adeyemi’s leadership and contributions would be greatly missed, but his legacy would continue to impact the Agency and the wider community.
